Gold Crown Limousine in Rochester, MN started taking reservations in 1988. Today the company operates under permit number 371850. For nearly four decades, the company has driven people to the airport, to Mayo Clinic, to meetings, and home again.
The founder built the business one pickup at a time, mostly airport transfers, point-to-point rides, and hourly charters. Customers called the same phone number for years, and many of them still do.

For 40 years, Gold Crown Limousine has been a trusted name in chauffeured transportation throughout Rochester and the surrounding communities.
Founder Maurice Driscoll dedicated four decades to building a company rooted in exceptional service, strong community relationships, and a genuine commitment to his employees and customers. At age 76, Maurice invested in Gold Crown’s future by constructing a nearly 9,000-square-foot, purpose-built headquarters at 6145 Rome Circle NW in Rochester, where the company continues to operate today.
In 2026, Maurice retired at the age of 90, marking the beginning of a new chapter for Gold Crown Limousine.
Under the leadership of new owners Tim and Tina Fliehr, Gold Crown remains committed to preserving the values that made the company successful while introducing enhanced technology, expanded service offerings, and new opportunities for growth.
At the heart of Gold Crown are its dedicated chauffeurs and experienced administrative team, many of whom have remained with the company through the transition. Office Manager Kathy Houdek, who has served Gold Crown for over 24 years, reflects on what makes the company special:
